The redesign of the Promenadenring in St. Pölten is an impressive example of modern urban development, seamlessly blending functional and aesthetic elements. The first section, now completed between Linzer Tor and Schulgasse, features expansive paved areas perfect for strolling and invites visitors to linger. A standout highlight is the two new water features from Raintime, offering plenty of fun for children and a refreshing break for everyone.
Raintime Water Features at Promenadenring St. Pölten
Each of the two installations consists of four AquaSaal110 units equipped with foam nozzles. These water features are intelligently controlled: based on temperature, set times, and optionally, through a push-button, adding an interactive element to the experience.
This dynamic control ensures the water features can be experienced in different ways throughout the day and under varying weather conditions – providing a welcome cool-down on hot days and a fascinating water spectacle for both young and old.
The newly redesigned area, in addition to the water features, offers plenty of seating, large tree beds designed using the sponge city principle, and play equipment for children. The combination of modern water technology and thoughtful urban design makes the Promenadenring an attractive meeting point and recreational spot for the whole family.
